Afrodance - AZONTO straight out of Ghana 

AZONTO is a dance and music genre from Ghana. It has its origination amongst the coastal towns. AZONTO dance has its origin in our Ghanaian traditional dance, examples are kpanlogo and gome. AZONTO forms the basis for most afrofusion styles. The dance has three main grooves which develops from the legs to the face, hands language , footwork and the top groove. In addition, the basic moves of this dance revolves around imitating daily chores such as ironing, driving, washing, swimming, boxing etc.
